On Friday, July 1, NRG media hosts the first-ever Speak Out Against ALS radiothon. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 1620 The Zone, ALS patients will speak about Lou Gehrig’s disease and motivate people to donate to the Keith Worthington Chapter of the ALS Association.

Lincoln’s own William Lauer was one of the ALS patients interviewed during the National ALS Advocacy Day conference this May in Washington, D.C.
